This is almost too awesome; I'm inspiring a teeming mass of sadists across the globe.
Sheena just sent in this awesome looking corpse cake (10.31.06). The cool part? It's a birthday cake! "My sister was born on Halloween so i went browsing for a good Halloween cake to make her and found your corpse cake which is awesome! I couldn't pass up the chance to make it =) anyways it turned out great and she loved it." Thanks Sheena!
Here we have the first submission for the Corpse Cakes! "Dude, we totally made a corpse cake while following your instructions but we added a few personalized things. Well, basically we made it into a dead hooker"
Taylor sent to me with the description, "Anyway, the day just wouldn't have been the same without a frosted dead hooker chilling in the fridge." How rad is that? Now if it were only holding a Pimp Cup and giving a Hummer a thumbs down this would hands-down be the best submission to theWAREHOUSE ever. Actually it's doing a pretty good job all on its own. This cool looking duo of Corpse Cakes was sent in by Jonathan in Syracuse, and baked by Ana. Really very nice job with the layering! I think it worked out a lot better than my own, I must admit. "Thanks for the idea, they were a hit" he says, and I say thanks for the pictures! I hope they tasted as good as they look. Great job, Ana.
This fantastic cake came in from Katie Cook. What great, creative additions! There are white jellybean "maggots" and gummy worms! "I think your cake was the most creative Halloween idea that I've seen in a while." Well I think it turned out pretty darn good - frosting marshmallows is really hard. But wow those maggots and worms are great. Thanks Katie!
This cool cake was made by some guy who decided not to share the fact that he made it. That makes me sad, because it's a cool cake...nice texture and whatnot. Heh, anyway, I "found" it in the 'net, and it was made by some guy named Jonathan. Oh well, it still looks cool, and I still inspired him, even if he decided not to share his achievement. Some day in the future he'll see the comment I left in his photo album and go "WHAHAHAAAA????"
